This Ham & Swiss Cheese Quiche is an old recipe of my mom’s she received from a friend years ago. I remember that my mom made it and we really liked it. I think it just got lost in the shuffle of our lives, but am I glad I asked her to dig it up! SO good!
In honor of Pi Day, I figured that today was the perfect day to post this recipe. Quiche can be considered pie, right? Well, it is today! ? Happy Pi Day!!
Are you hosting an Easter brunch this year? WELL, I’ve got you covered with this quiche. It’s simple to put together and your guests will think you’re a domestic goddess. You can definitely use a store-bought pie crust here. I decided to make my own, but you definitely don’t have to. You will need a regular-sized pie crust to make the quiche.
Basically, you mix up eggs, cream, ham, shredded cheese and dried onions in a large bowl. Add salt and pepper. Pour into prepared regular-sized pie shell and bake for about 50-60 minutes until the middle is set.

Ham & Swiss Cheese Quiche
- 4 large eggs beaten
- 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup thinly sliced ham cut up into small pieces
- 1 cup shredded swiss cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 1/2 tablespoons dehydrated onion
- 1 9-inch unbaked pie crust store-bought or homemade
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
In a large bowl, beat eggs and cream until combined. Add ham, cheese, onion, salt and pepper and mix until combined. Pour mixture into pie shell.
Bake quiche for 50-60 minutes until set. Cool on wire rack. Serve warm.
